Well made and good sized. I can so no reason this would not be from a period pole. Is like U.S. poles being topped with an eagle-this could be civilian or government.

It is not a NSDAP finial as they were standardized. The hakenkreuz was used on everything during the period so it is likely from civilian use. A nice item.

Has anyone an idea, where the photo of the SA Leibstandarte Munich come from? Is that a real photo or from the bundesarchiv in germany or ????
