Hitler Youth (HJ) Pennant
Hey Guys,
Picked up this double sided Pennant / BDM-Mädelgruppenwimpel "23/252". Great multi piece sewn construction on this. Just a couple very small stains but nothing bad at all. Woven in white thread onto both sides is the unit number. The hanging end is equipped with three original snap clips. Nice display sized piece here and was happy to acquire. Hope you like.

G Man. Hey Braddha. I believe Clips are fine. I have seen about 4 different clip variations on these types of wimpels / banners. Thread securing clips is for sure period sewn and stitched.by Gwar

No oxidation on the hooks and the thread looks fibrous on the ends ( Frayed ) in my opinion.. Very suspicious and not the typical lanyard holders I would be comfortable with.. In the end I am hopeful it is good. It just looks too new with modern fasteners.... Just my two cents..

Thanks G. Clips are slightly different than the ones you show if you look closely. IMHO they are fine. as said before this is not HJ at all, but Bund Deutscher Mädel,
so for girls. Actually it is a Mädelgruppenwimpel (elder girls).
