Hi, its possible.... but i have not seen any reference to the existence of a flag of this kind being use there.
Are there any papers to flag? how it got to the shop, where was it found originally......
You have any close ups of the flag, any stamps, markings?
Personally i dont like it much.
Cheers
Nuno
This flag appeared in my nearby antique shop 6-7 years ago so these are the only photos i have! As i recall there were no papers, no tags. no maker on the flag! The owner didn't tell me how the flag came there so i know nothing about it's origins.

If i had the money back then, i would have been the sucker since i didn't know the forum yet! God saves the bad economy, right?
Guys you really made me happy with your words since for all these years i thought i let a unique item go away! And not only i thought it was unique but it was so closely connected with my main focus target of collecting, Crete!!!

Far from being a flag expert but I would have thought that the material would have been a bit rougher..... if you know what I mean. It does not look period to me and the fallshirmjager insignia in particular smacks of a post war (possibly 60/ 70s) fantasy item. Cheers.
I don't know about the material... This was supposed to be a wall banner and not a flag meant to flown in the air and sustain damage due to weather elements! So the material fits it's purpose as being lightweight!
