That's great Don! By the way, I'm looking for a Luftwaffe inflatable type life vest for a reasonable price (NOT $4,000.00 like I saw at one site). Any idea where I might find one?
    Thanks,

    John

In dealer's websites the prices are very high. I prefer to browse the market places of various forums of which i am a member. $4.000 is a lot for a life vest. I got my complete summer pilot set for less than that and my kapok vest is a good piece which was also published in a Luftwaffe book.

Thanks Don. If you come across one I'd appreciate a heads up if you will.
    Thanks again.

Would anyone recommend steaming out the creases before storing in tube? Or is this a big no-no? I have a couple of banners which were folded but want to store them correctly in a tube.
I used a steam-iron on my flag with no problems at all....Pete.

I feel sure it would do just fine but I think I'll leave well enough alone for now.

I just "steamed" a roughly 8'x 3' banner with no issues at all... Depends on the fabric quality (over time) I figure.... Anyway, mine came out great!

With the family history behind it priceless. But like the other posts it is too big to display and not that sought after for a collector. We have one at the museum I work at from Berlin it is on display but takes a lot of wall space
