From your description, your flag is a SA Sturmfahne from Gruppe Sudetan. Try to post some pictures for positive confirmation.

There are subtle differences in some of the Gruppe colors. The corner patch would be considered light blue. The Sturmfahne is from Gruppe Bayerische Ostmark. The static swastika indicates that this is an early Sturmfahne. A very nice piece in excellent condition. It does appear to be missing the rings utilized to attach the fahne to the pole. This is not unusual as it was easier for a GI to cut the flag from the pole.
