need help iding stamp on my 7 ring NSDAP wall banner

Hi everyone,

I had the good fortune recently to acquire a 7 ring NSDAP wall banner in very good condition. I did not notice the small 1 inch diameter stamp on the front upper right corner until I began to mount it. I have spent hours trying decipher the design graphic and German letters around the stamp's circumference using edited photos with different hues and contrasts to aid in identifying what the stamp letters say and what the stamp represents.

As best as I can describe the stamp, to me there is what appears to be a graphic baton design centered vertically within an exterior wreath design which totally encircles the baton design. Near approximately 1/3 up from the baton's base are two evenly two sloping curved lines which taper outward and downward equally on both sides terminating near the bottom of the inner wreath design. I cannot make out what if anything is inside of that section. Maybe the diminishing lines represent the peak of a hill?

In approximately the baton's center there may be a swatstika graphic design centered inside a circle. Both appear centered in a horizontal rectangular flanged design on both sides evenly balanced on each side of the baton within the inner wreath design. It reminds me of a large hair bow "butterfly" piece a girl would possibly wear for a "pony tail" style. Could the center design represent a funeral sash? If so maybe this wall hanging was used at funerals for deceased members of that town/village?

Around the stamp's circumference beginning at the lower left side my best guesses for the following letters/words are:

"National . So?allfertidg(space)Kreigsgsopferver/orgung" At the bottom "So(o with a slash through it)lotheim"?

Below the baton/wreath is what appears to be "Driegruppe" Is that for "Group 3 " or "3 Group"?

Could this be a stamp that represents this wall banner was the property of this town's/village WWI's Veteran's Association? It is in very good condition possibly used only on special occasions. I did an internet search for all "S" German towns/cities which were "So??heim" with no success.

Any id help would be appreciated.

The symbol is that of the NSKOV (Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung, or National Socialist War Victim Care), and the word directly beneath the symbol is "Ortsgruppe" (local group). I believe that the word beneath that is the name of the town from which it came or was issued, but I can't make out what it says.

Thanks. That id really helps. "Ortsgruppe" means that this organization was equivilant to a US county level.

Hopefully someone can identify the name of the town or city.

Thanks so much Glenn for the id. I expected a longer id process. Fortunately although the stamp's impression was somewhat light it was enough to read. I suspect the purpose of the stamp was to document proof of whom the banner belonged.

Very good. I'll check the location on a map. I envision this rings banner mainly being used in formal types of solicitation settings for aid, i.e., inside meeting halls, formal dinner affairs, etc. I recall seeing only maybe two pictures of this style wall banner and both were inside environments. Although possible to use outdoors, the rings in any wind quickly would slip out of position on a horizontal rod support interfaced to a pole or or vertical mast.
