May I ask one question?
The last flag on the second picture...is it ORTSGRUPPE BIRKENFELD?

And if so...is there any chance that your friend will sell this flag?
Because I have a real deep connection to Birkenfeld and it would be the most important thing
in my life to get this flag...

To answer the question of Harti:
none of the flags is for sale. My friend still is in a stage of collecting
and as far as I know he does not have plans for selling anything.
No further questions need to be asked.

And no it is not Birkenfeld.

Wim, your friend's flag collection is amazing, if there is any chance at all, I would love to see some close ups of his Luftwaffe flight standard, one of the
most striking of all the 3rd Reich flags in my humble opinion....

Hello Bob,

Sorry. He does not want me to show close-ups or larger photographs
from the flag you asked for, nor from any of the others.
I really would love to write a book about flags, but a) no time for it;
b) not enough flags in use photos. In such case he would assist me
with pleasure. And further: I do have quite a lot of flag-in formation
from all kinds of sources, but if this would be enough for a book, I
would not know. You never can fix a flag book in one volume and
most publishers are not waiting for two of such monsters (see what
came out of my tiny plan for a gorget book and you will know what
I mean).
