Opinions on flags and pennants

Hi Lars-
The SA sturmfahne looks to be fine. I have never seen an SA wimpel like the one you show so I would move cautiously. The vehicle ID flag also appears to be fine.

Thanks a lot Bob Sturmfahne and Pennant is from the same seller. Could the pennant theoretically be good even you have never seen one? I know that you know SA items. I would be sad passing on a good item.

Anything is possible. However, as I have never seen a SA pennant such as this in 56 years of collecting makes me leery. We know that fakers make fantasy items that never exisited. The color combination of the pennant has never shown up in any official publications I have read. Possibly some one else will chime in. I have always found it is better not to buy something you have to make explanations for to justify its authenticity.

If you buy the SA sturmfahne, be sure the pole rings are RZM marked. The chain stitching on the corner patch is thinner than what I have known in originals flags. I will post some corner patches for your comparison. I am having some second thoughts on the piece just based on the patch.
