Original swastika flag?

Hello,
Somebody offered me this flag. He became it from a Us veteran who
took the flag away in ww2. What is it worth? Is it a real one?

Hi,i to have never seen one like it,just looking at those brown ties at the ends and trying to work out what it would have been attached to?A very odd looking peice to me.

It could be a personal podium banner, there were many different designers. But this one looks different and out of character, Its not officially connected to the German army so your expert on the Wehrmacht could be wrong.
