Political flag pole "base"?

Wondering what exactly it is that I have here... listed as a "political flag pole base" and also carrying rzm and "fahnenfabrik" markings it's obiovusly for a flag pole but at this point it's unclear to me exactly what kind and possibly for what organization. Is it simply an end piece for the pole or a base for a pole top? Any help and additional info greatly appreciated!

Thank you--- good to be back, so to speak! Things change and all that, the size of my collection goes up and down but I don't plan on leaving the hobby entirely--- still adding the odd item from time to time. Good to see you still active and ever the enthusiast as well! Yeah... this item was just a random pick up... hope someone will chime in. Unfortunately I sold my pole top and NSDAP standarte a few years back, hope to be adding something like those items again. Would love a complete flag set w. pole, top and all but that's not an option right now. I think I saw your set while browsing this section yesterday, very nice!

Looks like it might be a DAF pole top base. Further input appreciated, of course!

Don't think that was my flag set. I only have a few flags but no poles, tops, etc. (or at least I don't remember if I have one...LoL) It was probably Rossi's.

I do however still have that beautiful winter white wash camo!

Maybe it was just the flag then, might have gotten it mixed up. Good to hear you still have the camo! Do let me know if you ever plan on letting it go!
