I agree that this is a fake signature wise. I have seen many of these GI signed flags over the years and they not only always have their ranks but also their home address in the States. Years ago, they were considered to be of less value as they were a defaced relic. Today, they are an interesting historical artifact. I am glad you posted it and did not get stung.

You have to be very careful with these, they are becoming more sought after now so of course fakes will start popping up, once you hold and see 3 or 4 original GI signed flags then the fakes are easy to spot, the one here is garbage.
