Post 5: the triangluar DRK-flag is one for females and phrased as
Wimpel für DRK-Bereitschaften (weiblich) mit Gösch. So a pennant
for the female DRK-unit 1 from the Grafschaft Diepholz. The Gösch
is the triangle with name-indication.
It should have seven rings, which indicate it to be this form.
This form of flag was introduced due to the DRK re-organization (das
neue Deutsche Rote Kreuz) as from December 9, 1937. The flags
became into regular use since early 1938, but was in fact shown already
for the first time during a DRK-meeting from December 20, 1937 at the
"Kaiserhof" at Berlin.
Often it is thought this type of flag was not earlier in use then 1939, but
that is not correct!
For those that would like to know the area-location for Grafschaft Diepholz,
which was created in 1932 (look at a German map clockwise):
Oldenburg, Delmenhorst, Bremen, Verden, Nienburg, Minden, Osnabrück and Vechta.
