I believe that is correct...an original Reichskriegsflagge/War Flag...also used on naval vessels. This one appears to be dated 1941...
    cheers, Glenn

Nice original flag which shows wear from use. Moving this to the 3rd Reich Flags and Banners Forum

Are we 100% sure on this ? It looks an awful lot like the type
from the 70's which reads 'fahne' instead of 'flagge'.

Can you provide the size and a close up pic of a seam
along the edge ?There needs to be four or five rows
of stitching and it must Not be 60 X 90 !

    I have a sneaking suspicion.........

somebody could have aged it by tearing it and staining to make it look older and more believeable.....lets hope this is not the case.

Although I noticed the use of Fahne instead of Flagge...I didn't give it much importance, perhaps you're right...the size should be printed on as well...
    cheers, Glenn

Dammit guys just found the 60 by 90 going to my repo draw since I don't sell repos. So far I have a real
Helmet shell from the period a real bayonet from period but not ss and a real vietnam flak and the flag and I think the m1/52 is fake and prob the patches are fake too but not positive yet. Oh well. Some real some fake. Whoever owned the storage locker got burned on a couple things.
Thanks guys! Appreciate all the info!
