Description: WWII award certificate for German wound badge to wachmeister Paul Herr
The Reserve Flak Division 302 was set up on 26 August 1939 in Gotha from parts of the 1st / Flak-regiment 3 with three heavy and two light batteries and deployed in Luftgau IV. In September 1940, the division was transferred to Norway and deployed in the Petsamo area from May 1942, where it belonged to the Staff of the Flak Regiment 229 at the 13th Flak Brigade. In July 1942, the department was renamed to mixed Flak Division 302 (v). As early as 1942, the department was transformed into the heavy Flak Division 302 (v). For this the 4th and 5th batteries were added to the 3rd and 4th / light Flak Division 830. The 4th battery was then re-placed as a heavy flak department. 1943 became from the department then again the mixed Flak department 302 (v). For this purpose, a 5th and 6th battery were installed from the 1st and 4th / light Flak Division 830. In October 1944 the department was dissolved. from lexicon de wehrmacht.de
