Description: SOLD - Lightweight Unlined Cotton/Linen Infantry Feldbluse 'Afrika'
I bought this Unteroffizier Infantry Feldbluse in Hildersheim in 1977. I assume it's 'Theatre made', it's in a greet cotton or linen fabric and is unlined, the thing that struck me was the ghost of an AFRIKA cuff title which had been removed. It has slightly faded in colour as can be seen under the pocket flaps, the corners of the top pockets are sewn down so have never been used. It is a very nice cut with detailing on the back and is in great condition. It appears something had been attached above the left breast pocket and there are decoration loops on the pocket.
