Description: Hello all,

Here's your chance to own a VERY COOL named Luftwaffe M40 combat helmet with a bullet hole. The massive size 61 liner is in nice shape and the leather is soft and supple. The decal rates at excellent and this example will look great on the shelf. I imagine this was used as target practice during the war judging from the direction the bullet went through. While the liner is 100% original to the helmet in every way, one split pin has been lost to time. What makes this one so special is the fact that even though it is a true M40 the split pins have a brass head which suggests factory utilization from M35 production.
