Description: Here is an original M40 Q66 single decal Heer helmet. The ET style decal rates 99%. The paint is around 85% intact. The liner is original, dark brown, and very supple. It is possible that it was dyed at one point, but I'm not sure. I am on the fence with my opinion of the liner being original to this helmet. The liner is for a size 64 shell. At the same time, two of the original liner pins are with the helmet (one is a replacement). So possibly the liner is original to the helmet. The Lot number of this helmet is DN85. I got a kick out of the backwards "D". You can see it in one of the photos. According to the lot number database on GHW2, there are two more DN85's. Both are size 66, one Heer, one Luftwaffe.
