Description: Don't want to have to get rid of this really but financial worries have forced my hand. This is, simply put, the best item in my collection; an original and forum-verified SS stahlhelm found on the battlefield of Kharkov. The helmet remains in absolutely outstanding condition for a ground find; the decal is excellent and very clear, as is the paint on the helmet. The liner band is still present, however this helmet was found with the soldier and thus the liner itself was probably not very pleasant. The remains of the soldier were reported and claimed, along with his Totenkopf ring - the fact that this helmet's owner had such a ring indicates his importance in the SS. Overall this is a stunning display piece and probably the most affordable SS helmet in this condition you will find. Thanks for viewing!
