Description: This lid was recovered in the Auwere swamp in eastern Estonia hence it's good condition.

The helmet is a slate grey colour but has clearly been White camo with the outline of a decal on the left hand side.

It has taken a bullet impact to the left rear of the skirt whcih had then gone through the liner band and liner and exited from the top of the helmet , blowing out a section of the top , the liner appears to have much dark reddish staining presumably blood. When the lid was found a large part of the top section blown out was recovered about 30 metres away , which fits perfectly with the helmet.
A chance to own a genuine East Front White Camo Battle damaged M 35 Helmet.
