Description: A middle model manufacturing period 1936-1938 NSKK dagger , Aluminum eagle, nickel plated zinc cross guards, scabbard shell is straight throughout and it has excellent original black painted finish which rates at least 96% however. The scabbard mounts are the nickel-plated steel type in near mint condition. The blade in near mint condition with needle like tip and having full grain and measured 222 mm. The SA motto is 100 % intact and is crisp and has fine lettering with a light grey background. The reverse blade ricasso is matching etched with the “Gebr. Gräfrath” makers mark above the open single RZM circle positioned over the “Gebr. Gräfrath” code, “M 7/30”. The blade shoulders perfectly fit the cross guard contour.
