Description: Early hj knife by maker R.KLAAS Solingen in nice condition with motto,very good nickle plating on the hilt,pommel & fingerguard, griplates are undamaged with a nice smaller type hj daimond insignia, blade is full length with a nice deep complete motto & has the origional leather buffer washer in place, the scabbard has most origional black paint remaining with no dents, the leather hanger is stamped LFS with oakleaf, one of the rivets has been replaced which looks period done & the male part of the snap button has been replaced at some point & works perfect so does not really detract imo, Looks better in hand than my pix show.
