Description: This dagger is considered early vintage displaying all the attributes and quality of early pieces. Thought by many to be made by Pack these early 120/34's were produced in 1934 the first full year of SS dagger production. The fittings are all nickle and well fit. The lower crossguard is marked with I as to the district of issue a feature sometimes seen on these early RZM marked pieces. The eagle is a correct nickle version and the runes have 100% enamel. The scabbard fits the dagger perfectly and all of the patina matches. There are two small dents under the bottom strap of the hanger. The scabbard has a nice anodized finish. All the screws are intact. The blade has been cleaned somewhere along the way; there is some minor scattered spidering. The motto has a nice dark color. The early pre-RZM SS verticle hanger, which is what onw would expect to find is in very good condition. Guaranteed 100% Third Reich Period.
