Description: I would like to trade this original Alcoso Lion Head Saber for an original German dagger. Interested in just about any daggers but especially a decent army or SA dagger.
This early brass sand-cast lionhead sword is manufactured by Alexander Coppel Alcoso and is in original and untouched condition. The grip and wire are excellent with no cracks.
The blade is in excellent condition with only minor scuffs here and there and some pitting and discoloration underneath the eagle/swastika and oval wreath.
You will notice that the gold plating has either worn off or was never there as some examples were never plated.
Scabbard has no dents and retains appx 80% of the original paint with some minor paint loss.
