Description: German Kriegsmarine 'Gösch Flagge' (Marine Jack Flag). This is the official national and mercantile flag of Germany. Although the National War Flag is most commonly associated as the flag flown by the Kriegsmarine, they also utilized the standard National flag. This 'Jack' flag was flown from a jackstaff on the bow of a war ship to indicate its nationality. The flag is made of dual-sided printed wool, the flag is having reinforcement stitching. The flag is sized 80x135 cms. which is a perfect display size. The flag is nicely maker marked and also marked with 'Gösch. 80x135'. The flag is in very good, only slightly used condition. Nice and desirable original flag!
