Description: This is a rare Medal made commemorating Germany's famous leader during the early years.
The four date on the reverse are:
- 30 January: Hitler appointed as Reichschancellor
- 5 March: Federal election -- NSDAP receives the largest number of votes, though only 43.5% of the total
- 21 March: Hitler's inauguration as Reichschancellor at the Potsdam Garrison Church
- 12 November: Federal referendum 'for or against' the NSDAP -- the Party receives 95% 'for'
The obverse portrait of Adolf Hitler is signed by the artist 'Beier', and around the border reads 'Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler'. The reverse is beautifully sculpted, with a center design of an eagle's head and the date 1933
The reverse - Ein Volk-Ein Reich-Ein Führer (one people, one empire, one leader) may reflect the first time that famous phrase was used in a national campaign.
The edge bears the mark of the Prussian State Mint in Berlin, and "Feinsilber" normally indicates .900 fine silver content.
