It does not appear to have ever been used to send a telegram. It has one fold in the middle where the GI must have folded it to place in his pocket. The glue on the flap has been sealed (probably happened over time during storage in a moist or humid area). The interior does not contain any documents.

This is a great item if you collect telegram or Nazi Germany envelopes/postage/paper documents. An even better gift for the collector in the family, especially with Christmas not far off!
