    Description: First pattern pre-war Voluntary Labour Service / Freiwilliger Arbeitsdiesnt (FAD) ID issued to a Wilhelm Kahner born in May 13, 1912 in Rüstringen in Oldenburg.

    Enlisted on August 1, 1934 into Battalion 2/191 (Gau XIX – Cloppenburg - Niedersachen-West) holding the rank Arbeistmann.
    Transferred to Battalion 6/193 (Gau XIX – Nienburg/Weser - Niedersachen-West) on August 31, 1934.
    Discharged on March 31, 1935.

    (Note: In 1937 Wilhelmshaven and Rüstringen merged and the united city, named only Wilhelmshaven, became a part of the Free State of Oldenburg.)
