    I believe there are pictures with Shermans, France/ Germany 1944/45, with locally poured concrete stuck to the front once the crews realised how vulnerable they were. This was discouraged as it put extra strain on the engine, transmission and tracks and wore out the tank more quickly. The crews attitude was either worn out or knocked out. Sorry no Estonian.
