Looks like their diving the wreck tomorrow, and fitting the lifting cradle ....
So, unfortunately no actual lift tomorrow.

Still, it will be worth watching the progress.

EEK! I wouldn't hold yer breath on that score Jerry....

I am also concerned about the condition, especially having listened to the representative of the Technical Museum in Berlin. Lets hope that fate allows the aircraft to at least survive to some extent, it would certainly make for a fantastic display. The frame construction process will take quite a while anyway, so we will have to wait for that to be completed first.

There may also be a bit of a problem regarding EOD, as something that appears to be shaped like a SC 50 fifty kilogram bomb has been spotted lying in the bomb bay.

Of course from reading the article I don't think the plane actually reached land as it was part of a decoy to draw British fighters into a trap of 3 wings of German fighters, but you'd have thought he'd have dropped that bomb into the sea before attempting a crash-landing!

Then again the plane had been shot up a bit so he may not have been able to get rid of it. Tricky..

Truly Amazing! I for one will keep watching and can only wish them all the good fortune and success that such a project so richly deserves. Jonathan.
