Good to see they got it up without it completely falling apart and a bit of preservation without too much trying to rebuild it would be best IMHO.

I'll vote for keeping it in a state of 'arrested decay'-- clean off the marine layer, stop corrosion and display it. Cannot wait to see what it looks like flipped over...
Some great photo's of the Dornier lift from this site which is very interesting in its own right. Hope the link works for you chaps out there, and although it's attached to facebook you can still access its photo's without being on facebook.
