Ejection Seat washed up

Article about: recently washed up here at the same place I find stuff on the coast, makes a change from wellington parts, posting pictures here in hope someone can positively ID what jet this relic is from

    Just seen this, they are called Personel Survival Packs and remain attached to the pilot after he has separated from his seat. The first one I don't recognise so could be Bucaneer. The second one is a Mk10 Ej Seat PSP as found on the Tornado.

    Did some checking and the first is a Mk9 PSP as used in Harrier and Jag. Seeing as this one has a local number of LOS ??4 I'm convinced it's from a Lossiemouth based Jag.

    how can it be from that when that was in the 1970s? and the underside of the seat has 1988 and 1989? unless theyre expiration dates(?)

    Good point, the dates will be production dates so can't be from that Jag.
