    Hi Zwerge,

    The aircraft appears to be a Nakajima Ki 43 Hayabusa, allied name 'Oscar', here's a pic, whaddaya think?

    I believe the esteemed Mr Brown was referring to the thread title" Found on the Ground"

    He is a funny bugger

    Agreed it does look like an Oscar, any idea on where the picture was taken ?

    Hi,it`s a Ki.43-IIa in New Guinea in 1943, I understand the workings of the " funny bugger`s mind " I think along the same paths.

    If you have not figured it out yet it is a KI-43.............
