German optical sight from Finnish Lappland

Hi there gents,

Here´s my latest battlefield find from Lappland, just curious as ro what type of gun or device this sight belonged to or how and for what it was used?

Hi Jan what you have here is a MG34 optic periscope for use with the MG34 optic this would be fitted so that the gunner could look though the sight from cover ,i have found the same items in Misi in Lapland ,Ian
