I heard about that one. It would fit in my collection quite nicely.

Wow!!! looks like it was pushed into the water during/after the war???
amazing. I can't imagine going out into the woods with a metal detector and finding German armor....
@JBC:
But You can find missed german technology, who goes in the end of war to the States...
In one of my Vintage- Aircraft magazines I see an picture (Many years ago. In "Flugzeug", if i remember right) , many german planes.
It was taken many years after the war, they have token an catapillar, and push the old planes into a lake, and than they built lengthening of an runway above that all..
I´m sure, that you can find on old wreckyards in the near of old armybases some old german technology..
I belive, for many times, the owners collect this parts for souvenier ...
Here an example from my hometown:
Daimler DZVR 21 Schupo - Sonderwagen der preußischen Schutzpolizei von 1921-1925
An other chance army-ranges.. in germany you can find some relics . In the ´80 they find an Jagdpanther in Bergen (Nato-range)
Hartziel.de - Panzerwracks und Militärschrott
Nice schupo armoured car. thanks for the link kamerade!
Bestens, u vielen gruesen,
