Landmines?
Hello there. I have a great hobby in search for world war 2 objects with my metaldetector and trying to identify all the items. Now this morning I dug up a couple of items that look like boobytraps or mines of some sorts. Hopefully someone can tell me what it is I found.

Can I ask why that is important. Let me keep it general, the south part of the Netherlands.
I think the question was in regards to Legality .
Yes you can ask , as Chris has stated it is a question of legality . On this forum if you are going to post photos of Metal detecting or digging we need to be happy that you are doing so within the laws of the country in which you are carrying out the activity , if you could do that please i would be grateful ?by Dave Goderie
You have also posted photos of live ammunition whcih has clearly been removed from the ground can you post what you now intend to do with that ?

They are very corroded but I can make out some kind of fuse on the top. Look up German Stockmine and you should find something similar. They are concrete with a stake at the bottom and a fuse protruding from the top. They are pull fuses so these indeed could be used as booby traps. Could be very dangerous!! NH
I sincerely hope that they are not sitting at your home or near to anyone elses which your photo does seem to convey !!
