Hi Seb, thanks for the update.

No banned users on the thread: actually these are members who have been deleted from the database as they were inactive users. These were people who had not been back to the forum for a long time. Members who do not log on at first become inactive members, then after a year or more of inactivity they are removed from the database. Many forums keep every person "on the books" in order to artificially boost membership numbers. Here at War Relics we are honest about the membership numbers.

    Cheers, Ade.

BTW,amazing the number of banned members on this very thread...
    Is this doomed here,héhéhé?
Sefrench, you wrote that any found WW2 tank found on private land would go to the French MOD, is this always the case? I am asking because I have been told that it would belong to the land owner. I do hope that the latter is the case

When you think of the millions of pieces of equipment produced you have to realize that there are TONS of this stuff yet to be discovered.

Thumbs up Re: M5 Stuart tank found buried in France

Many, many tanks and other pieces of heavy equipment were used to fill bomb craters throughout Europe right after the war. many Tigers, Shermans etc are lying just underneath roads and bridges
