it seems snowdonia mountain range here in north wales was a popular place to crash your bomber during the war mostly navagation erors i believe
there are b17 s lancs moscitoes all sorts all over the mountains it has bin many a year since i last walked the mountains couple of german bombers as well i believe lost returning from raids on manchester and liverpool

You beat me by 20 years, I married my Welsh girl 2 years ago, but been in Wales since 78! Went back to the Anson, and a Ventura it's mixed up with a couple of years ago and there is very little left.
