    Looks like it was rendered inoperable by thermite or some other metal burning device. Cool photo! NH

    Demilled. In wartime they would have just spiked the end of the barrel.

    Oddly enough, last weekend I was walking in the Ardennes near Wanne and suddenly saw this, literally in someone's back garden....
