A very interesting story regarding Stuka and it’s crew. Hopefully you do see the graves at some point. Shame the parts can’t give any hints towards what part of the plane they came from. However it’s a good thing aluminium hardly decays in the ground so that you could still have some nice yellow paint!
Looking forward to seeing a finished display area for these pieces.

Interesting history, the Stukas did very badly over here. Did you recover the relics yourself? The engine from this aircraft is on display at the Kent Battle of Britain museum.
Not personally recovered by me, no. They came from a dealer site specialising in battlefield relics. They were listed in two lots, and I bought them both to keep them all together. It's a shame that dealers so often choose to split up things that belong together, just to make a bit more money, but that's the way it is.by ian_
Didn't know the engine was on display in a museum! Are there any photographs of it? I'd be interested to see them. Might be worth paying a visit one day, as the museum isn't too far from where I live.

Very nice pieces!
I used to go crazy for Luftwaffe aircraft parts, but slowed down as I ran out of space for them all. You have some interesting sections with intact paint. Awesome!

My first aircraft relics, but definitely won't be my last. They're only twisted pieces of aluminium, but the stories they can tell if they're properly researched and documented makes them so much more valuable than that.
