    Default piece of tank?

This morning I found this thing in the wood, not far from where last year I found a sherman periscope. The area is near a road, so it could be a relic from battlefield as well as a modern garbage.
    It looks nicely corroded though.
Any idea what is it? It's 22 cm tall

It looks like a brake rotor from a more modern day vehicle but could also have been used on equipment .

Hi Matt, I too feel it is most likely a disc brake.

If it is, it will be post war, as these did not become widespread in use until the 1950's. WW2 military vehicles did not have these fitted.
