    Hi RSO welcome to the forum. Hopefully someone will go down and verify what kind of plane that is. The article makes it sound like they are not in too big of hurry to investigate. They act like there is some doubt that it is an airplane. The sonar image is pretty darn clear to me.

    Yes, there are some doubts but still very interesting. Divers will go down within a week so we will soon know what it is. Searching was done in the 40´s with no result.

    As above, some think it may be a Ju 52 transport others have mooted a Fiesler Storch!! Not much difference there then.....

    Will be interesting to see what they find down there.

    If those sonar graticules are fairly accurate Ill go with the Storch...... Looks interesting though

    Possible German WW2 plane found in swedish lake?Hello! I come from a village 30 km from this lake , and swam in it when I was small. Today I am a luftwaffe collector ........ som if i knew what was beneath me...!!! Well I have contact with the guy who found it and I will report to you as soon anything happens.
