A PzKpfw I TURRET on a Panzerstellung

That's right Gunny,
This was really small size tank turret ( in comparison with the M-48's which i use to command in the Army ...)
Just have a look on me (18 years younger ) , in the manhole.

They do seem quite small when up close to one

I agree with you Gunny, our mate "Totenhead" posted a couple of photos of the Pz II in Bovington..
But what the hell ? As "Kiwiwreckdiver" said before, this was just an other bloody tiny "deth trap" ....!

There is a turret from a Pz38 in Lianokladi/Greece as a panzerstellung. Nearby is an observation Turret. I am trying to find how to upload photos.
Panzerstellung from a PzII exist near Tempi/Larisa. You can find my pic at flickr com.

Well come to the forum and thank you for your kind comments.
I already know for the panzerstellung at Lamia area (with the Pz 38(t) turret ), since 15 years ago and i issued for this several photos and details in the "Military History" and "Panzer" during the 2000's. This will be as promised to the forum, my next post here. I also heard infos for the Pz II turret of Tempi/Larisa and it will be nice to have your photo work presented.
For every interested forum pal also , during the WW2 the German occupation forces builted many panzerstellungs with placed tank turrets , mainly for protection against partisan actions of the rail way lines through Greek mainland (which were vital for the supplying of Afrikakorps), as and along the west coast of Peloponnisos ( as defence measure against a possible landing of the Allied forces). Several of these panzerstellung survived the war and even today we can see in some areas of Greece the evidences of their presence . As an example of this info, the following photo of the Pz 38(t) turret issued during the 70's, refers to a turret which recovered from a demolitioned panzerstellung , in southern Greek mainland.
