    These objects came from a german trench that english army then win. Do you have some idea?

    Fragments of butter container

    Deformed from explosion

    Part of a rifle grenade, 10 german cent, part of egg bomb

    Unknown objects. Ceramic part. Some ideas?

    the first unknown object on the left looks to be the end cap of a us type strap like the one in the pic it was also found on other straps aswell

    and i think the last pic is the H delay mechanism from the bolt of a 1928 thompson smg

    The ceramic sherd is from a british stoneware vessel of the late 19th to early 20th Century....... since it was found in a ww2 trench context it's almost certainly from a British Rum Ration Jug.

    photo 1 looks to be fragments of a Bakelite lard container
