    Great pieces Paul, thanks for posting. Can you read the markings clearly enough to figure out where it was manufactured? That would be frosting on the cake!

    Thanks guys the markings are beh manufacturer Ernst Leitz GmbH , Wetzlar , the pasrts were found in Latvia in the Kurland pocket !!

    Very cool- I have a couple of complete SlfZF1a sights in great condition, but I always wanted a mount and especially the armour plate through which they projected; nice find!
    Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...

    Thanks Matt i've got a boxed SlfZF1a as well in very good condition , but it's nice to have one that has definatley been used in combat !!
