It is huge and looks like a crank that you would put in a car engine. Impressive

Very nice track link! I wonder just how many Tigers were in action at Normandy and how many didnt come back from it? It might even be possible to trace this down to a few vehicles.
In the meantime, I love the warning that comes up with the top of this page! I have to admit, even at my advanced old age, I was Still badly shocked at these disturbing photos... lol

"Warning: If you are aged under 18 years please do not proceed.
If you are easily upset by images of war, again please do not proceed.
Some images on this forum are of a graphic nature and show the newly discovered remains of fallen soldiers who died in WW2. All images shown are from officially recognised groups who work with German or former Soviet authorities, who ensure that these soldiers get a proper military funeral and next of kind are informed.
Within these images live ordnance is also sometimes shown: this forum does not encourage or condone digging on battlefields by the unwary. All recovered live ordnance is disposed of by the authorities.
If these images disturb you, please go no further. Or go BACK to previous page"
