Depends how much you want them taking an interest in your affairs, you may be unpleasantly suprised how they may take your public spirited honesty the wrong way, if only for a short time even though you've done nothing wrong.

If your going to hand them in please do it at either Lossiemouth or Elgin Police office as I really don't want these things stinking out my production store at Forres. And if your met by a grumpy looking Irish chap...run before he gets his rubber gloves on.

Ned, Maybe different in Staffs but up here you would be surprised what gets handed in on a weekly basis. At most all that will happen is a statement will be noted regarding the circumstances in which they were found. So much of this kind of stuff is handed in unless there is something suspicious no one really gives a damn

What they don't know you have won't kill them. Either put them back in the river or keep them out of public view in your dwelling. No sense getting the PO-lice involved if you don't have to. It's your country and your freedom, and possibly your headache, so do as you see fit.

Ill save them for fireworks night, save me a couple of £, or head up to forres police station as an early xmas gift for robin.

Just kidding, two police cars escorted me to the area where its at (I was given lift in one cop car) and the guy in other cop car collected the case .-)
