Re: WW2 landing craft restored
Another word about the photos of the LCVP in Utah Beach. The boat is not on this place because the Museum of Utah Beach is being enlarged. I have no information about the LCVP (is she being restored ?).
When I was young, I went every year in Normandy to visit my grand-parents. There were 1 (or 2 ?) LCVP and 2 LVT Crocodile. Regrettably, they were never maintained and because of the sea salt, 1 LVT (and the second ? LCVP) were destroyed.
