2 prospective SS helmet purchases

Hi everyone,

I am currently interested in these two ss helmets but want to make sure that they are authentic. One is a m40 double decal (too good to be true) and the other is a m42 single.

Hi Gren, neither helmet is authentic. Both have fake paint and decals.

Before even considering buying an SS helmet I would advise anyone to invest in a copy of the book "SS Steel" by Kelly Hicks.

Hello Gren,

These are not original SS helmets. For one the decals details are all wrong and an M40 dd would be extremely rare. Your are correct, too god to be true.

Save your hard earned money.
