New to the forum, new to helmet collecting, but not new to Germania collecting. Great post!
Exactly the information I was looking for! An excellent introduction for a total beginner like myself.
Can anyone advise where to "look" for these items? I'm based in the UK so some idea of fairs etc would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
Thank you for this insightful piece.
Very helpful tips. Thanks for sharing
.
Sorry this is all the pictures I have it's a double le decal I know they have experts on here that can confirm if the photos I posted are the in fact a authentic German helmet and possibly some information.
the helmet shell yes , the paint and decal are not authentic. The liner is good but post war used and dyed red by the Norwegians. Before the grey overpaint it probably was a good Norwegian post war green painted army helmet judging by the paint color under the leather.
Thank you so much!! I'm new to collecting I thought the decals looked not original!!
Yep
Buy from reputable dealers ,on that note I'm looking for a top m35 combat police , can anyone recommend a good uk based dealer ,sorry to jump in on this thread any help would be appreciated
