Could this be a relic SS helmet?

Hello, I just found this specimen. Could this be a relic SS reverse side decal? As of me I can't attribute any other decal. However reverse ones are really rare from what I have seen. Of course condition is bad but I collect mainly ground dug things so that I find it interesting. Thanks for help, Artur.

It is possible, i think i can see a black border but better pics of the decal are needed to conclude.

Most likely a Heer M35 or M40, hard to tell which.
